This Cookies Policy (hereinafter, the “Policy”) forms an integrated part of the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy at https://amaranzero.es/ (hereinafter, the “Website”).

With a view to facilitating your experience using the website, you are hereby informed that AMARA, S.A. (hereinafter, “Amara”) holder of ID No. A-28073815 and registered at Calle Trespaderne, 29, Planta 1, 28042, Madrid, uses data storage and recovery devices, such as cookies, tracking pixels or technologies with similar functionalities (hereinafter referred to jointly as “Cookies”).

With a view to guaranteeing that the visitor to the website (hereinafter, the “User”) has all the necessary information to correctly browse the website, Amara has prepared this Policy about what the Cookies entail, which and what type of cookies are used on the website and how they can be configured.

  1. What are cookies?

Data storage and recovery devices that allow the website owned by Amara to store and recover information about the User with a view to offering a better experience when using and browsing the website.

Cookies can be classified depending on the (i) technology used and the (ii) purpose they pursue:

Technology used

  • Standard cookie: Small text file or general use device downloaded onto the user’s equipment when browsing the website with a view to storing data that can be updated and recovered by AMARA, as the party responsible for their installation, to improve the user's browsing experience.
  • Cookie employing tracking pixels or similar technology: This is a small fragment of source code that allows the website to transfer and/or gather information by sending a request to the server associated with the tracking pixel. The main purpose is to obtain information about the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, traffic generated on the website, customise advertising and their content.

Duration of Cookies

  • Session: This type of Cookies are designed to gather and store data while the User accesses a website. They are usually used to store information that is only necessary to provide the service requested by the User one time (for example, a list of products acquired) and disappear once the session ends.

  • Technical: These are Cookies that are strictly necessary to browse the website, as they allow the User to use its features or tools, such as, identifying the session, accessing restricted parts, remembering elements that make up an order, performing the purchase process, amongst others.  Without these, the functions mentioned would be disabled, making it very difficult or impossible to browse the website.
  • Customisation: These are Cookies that make it possible for the website to remember the decisions that a User takes, for example, storing the User's geographical location, the User’s name, language, browser type used to access the website or other similar aspects.  The purpose of these Cookies to provide a more customised service.
  • Security: These are Cookies that prevent or make it difficult to attack the website or its Users.
  • Analysis: These are Cookies that allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of website Users. Amara reserves the right to change this Policy as a result of new legal or regulatory requirements or to adapt the Policy to the instructions handed down by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

If any change is made to this Policy, the user shall be informed in a notice published on the website.
